Softball

Raytown has some of the best fields in the area, and we supply scorekeepers, rainout lines and umpires. We offer Men's Leagues in single and double headers and Co-ed Leagues. We use ASA rules, and when your team registers with us we will supply your team with an ASA rule book and the Raytown Parks rules of the league.

Registration

All teams must have a current ASA registration card to participate in the Raytown Parks & Recreation Softball Program. Registered teams will receive a 2017 ASA Official Softball Rule Book and Scorebook.

Registration begins February 27th so get your team registered ASAP. Raytown does cater to teams that are made up of 85% Raytown residents. These teams will have the first choice of leagues, all other teams will be accepted as first come first served basis until all leagues are filled. We will work with everyone to ensure that we can offer you a softball league that will give you the fun and competition that you are looking for. Please call the Raytown Parks office with any questions, 358-4100.

Teams must submit a completed roster at the time of registration. A team may list no more than 20 players, but must have a minimum of 14 players. No registrations will be accepted without FULL PAYMENT & COMPLETED ROSTER. There will be a $3.00 charge for roster changes, beginning May 15th.

Pickle Ball - 2017

Raytown's newest recreation activity is going to be great! Played on a scaled down tennis court with wooden paddles it is a great active family game targeted at having fun. Rules are a combination of badminton, tennis and ping-pong. Serves are underhand and games played to 11 points. There will be events and clinics throughout the summer hosted at Colman Park outdoor tennis courts.  Monday and Friday mornings at 9 am. at Colman Park.

Kickball - 2017

Adult Co-ed Kickball Summer session starts Thursday, June 8th evenings at Kenagy Park and Fall session starts August 3rd at Little Blue Trace Park. The league will be six weeks long, $160 per coed team up to 20 people per team. We provide equipment and umpire at each game. This will be a fun, recreation league. Games will be held in the evenings for 55 minutes per game, no limit on runs scored. Raytown Parks will be taking team and individual registration so come and give us a try. All regular kickball rules apply with some safety rules added to ensure a fun and safe atmosphere.
